bathroom exhaust fan not removing moisture

I have a relatively new bathroom exhaust fan (about 5-6 years old) that had been working very well until the last few months. It doesn't seem to remove moisture nearly as well as it used to. The exhaust duct seems to be in good shape. I've also checked the air flow coming out of it, and that appears to be normal. Yet, the bathroom stays steamy after showers much longer than it used to. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks.

You said you checked the airflow from your fan. How did you do that? Did you go outside and feel good airflow from the vent's exhaust?

Removed the fan cover to see if the blades are loaded up with dust?
Think about what's changed, anyone one new in the house?
Take a shower, walk out and shut the fan off and there's going to be moisture left behind.
The fan needs to run at least 10 min. after there done.
Where's the fan venting to?
Checked the flapper to make 100% sure it's working?

Kind of. The fan doesn't exhaust to the outside, but into the attic instead (I know, that's not good, and it's on my to-do list, but at least the duct ends right next to the gable vent), so it was easy for me to check the airflow.
