Circle Cutting Tool

I need to cut holes for round duct take-offs into the main truck coming from my furnace. I'm told there is a tool that attaches to a drill that will quickly cut a perfect round hole in duct work. Does this tool have name? Where can it be purchased? Thanks!

I'm thinking you mean a hole saw. What size holes do you need?

If you have metal duct, this is probably what you are looking for: HC1 - Malco HC1 - 2 to 12" Hole Dia. Hole Cutter (Gold Standard)

They make a similar tool for fiberglass duct.

Kind of expensive if you only need a couple of holes. I'd just drill a starter hole and use curved aviation snips.

Or you can use a metal nibbler; slow but cheap.

That's a pretty cool hole saw but I don't trust any hole saw in metal ductwork. I've seen a few "accidents" from a stuck bit. Drill a starter hole and use red or green curved snips like Carbide mentioned. Far safer.
