Bathroom exhaust vent necessary?
I found out my bathroom exhaust vents in to the attic. I know it is supposed to go outside due to humidity, but I wonder if my situation makes that not necessary. I have a ranch with a crawlspace type attic. The ends of the attic are not sheeted. It is enclosed only by siding and a thin layer of foam insulation. It seems to me that the humidity added by that exhaust fan would be negligible. Am I fooling myself?
