Cleaning methods for NUTONE model 8490 ceiling fans, filters, and ducting?
What is the proper way to clean and maintain NUTONE model 8490 ceiling fans, filters, and ducting?

Where is your fan? If in the bathroom, the filter may be changed out if it becomes clogged with dust, dander, etc. You should never have to worry about the ducting and the motor is lubricated for life - no oil points.
You can pull up the NuTone site and check for a parts diagram and available replacement parts.
