Critical Fan Must Be Replaced

Several years ago I purchase a 12" TPI Workstation Fan. It does not hang from the
fan bracket. I built a vibration dampening frame that reduced the noise drastically.
The control module for the fan is a very rugged thermostat. Despite its small size,
this fan reduced the air temperature by at least 10F in a very warm environment.

The motor died at the end of last summer. It must be replaced. The cost of the
fan does not matter. What does matter is how much air it can move or CFM.

Northern Tool is selling the same 12" TPI fan rated at 1650 CFM - $89.99

TPI Industrial Mounted Workstation Fan — 12in., 1/5 HP, 1,650 CFM, 120 Volt, Model #U-12-TE | Workstation Fans| Northern Tool + Equipment

Northern Tool also has a 12" Strongway fan (not familiar with this name) rated at
2100 CFM - $49.99

Strongway Wall-Mounted Workstation Fan — 2100 CFM, 12in. Dia. | Workstation Fans| Northern Tool + Equipment

I want a 12" Workstation Fan with highest CFM rating, but reliability is important too!
As far as I know, TPI still manufactures their fans in Johnson City, TN. They make a
very good product.

If you think buying another 12" TPI fan is the way to go that's what I'll do. Assuming those
Strongway CFM ratings are correct, maybe that's the fan I should buy.

This fan is critical. I need to move as much warm air as possible with a 12" fan. If you
know of something better than TPI or Strongway please let me know. I'll gladly pay more
for a reliable 12" fan with highest legitimate CFM rating possible. It must fit into the frame
I built, so the workstation style is a requirement.

Looking at the two you have listed..... the TPI looks to be the better fan. I would not use the CFM rating of the Strongway fan to base the decision on.

I also checked to see what Graingers has as they specialize in this type of equipment. They only had one comparable fan available.

I own this small building. It looks like a very small barn or a large shed.

Inside this structure is some electronic equipment. I never intended this to become a
big project, but it has. I was about to purchase an air conditioner when a friend suggested
a TPI fan. There was only enough space for a 12" fan. Much to my amazement, this small
TPI fan dumped so much warm air I didn't need an air conditioner.

I just wanted to be sure there wasn't something better.

I actually remember these huge TPI floor fans when I was in elementary school. A child
could not stand in front without tipping over!
