Dry vent duct questions
I have connected flexible dry vent duct to vent hole in the back of dryer. I doulbe check and there is no leak for from flexble dry vent duct. When I dry the clothes, there is some moisture on tile. Is it ok? I am not sure it is moisture from hot air or not. The reason I ask because I am scare of mold. I have spent lots of monies for mold remediation. I attached pictures for your review.
When we remodeled the condo, we decided to trim hole from so we could buy front load washer. But the laundry area is so small so we bought top load washer instead.

There just is no great way to run that vent hose in those tight quarters, but you bought the wrong one.
It should be against the law to that type or the plastic hose.
It would take all of 10 sec. for that hose to burn through in a dryer fire.
You also have it so kinked up and crushed there's likely restricted flow.
Sounds funky but I would have used an elbow facing up on the tail piece sticking out of the wall, a piece of solid galv. pipe from the dryer outlet sticking out enough to attach another elbow also facing up and connected the two with this type flex line running the line in a loop.

By far one of the biggest causes of home fires are caused by dryer fires.
I get to go to at least 3 a year and all had that type line or plastic.
It should be against the law to that type or the plastic hose.

We used flexible duct to connect to hole from the wall for over 3 years. This time we trimmed flexible duct shorter so it would not restrict the flow.

You are correct. It is aluminum. My main question is I have seen some moisture on the tile when we dry clothes. I believe it is from hot air from dryer through the foil to the vent. Does it cause mold or not?
THAT IS MY MAIN CONCERN. BTW, we turned on the dryer (after we connect the foil duct to the vent) and checked the airflow and it did not leak.
