Attic fan and thermostat

I put in an attic fan a few months ago with a switch below. But it often stays on longer than I want. I'd like to control the t-stat setting from below without the hassle of climbing into the attic. (I think it has a humidistat also)

So is there a way I can control the settings from below? Thanks!

The long and short answer is no. That type of stat needs to remain in the attic.
Doubtful on the humidistat.

You would need to install a remote thermostat where the stat was on the wall and the measurement bulb is in the attic.

So if I understand you It would go like this.....?
--Remove attic fan t-stat and replace with temp sensor/measurement bulb.
--Take out switch below and put in t-stat.

What kind of new t-stat and bulb do I need? These are more in the 'Greek' category for me.
Also...am I using like 18-2 t-stat wire?
Thanks!

This is what I have on my attic fan. It's in a closet so it's not seen. Runs about $75. The power also gets run thru it.

You could also get a controller like in the link. You'd need to run your fan wiring thru the unit.
Could be a little difficult to mount the controller but would work well.
