Vent hood, recirculating, low soffit
I need some advice from some DIY pro's. I'm installing a Thermador 5 burner gas range, 59K BTU potential, but it won't be used heavily. Townhouse has no exterior vent option so I need to recirculate and there is a soffit, so only 46.5" to work with. Staying with ~30" or higher clearance above the range, I'm looking for a vent w/charcoal filtration and cfm of at least 450. I'm having trouble with all the choices. I like metal baffles (not aluminum mesh), push buttons (not electronic), LED multi-level (not halogen), and ideally an adjustable fan speed twist dial. I've looked at Viking (quality problems), Thermador (electronic controls, really expensive), Zephyr (electronic controls), etc. I found Imperial today at Pirch; model 1900 PSB-10. Can't find reviews online for them; Orange County (local) company. We'll be self-installing, with the recirculating kit on top. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? Picture attached shows space, w/old range. Thank you.
