Hi, I'm looking for a temporarily solution to block an air vent register (to put at night before going to bed to reduce the noise, and remove in the morning to let the air flow). Depending on where you read, some people are advising to never block air vents, while others are saying it's ok to block 1 or 2 air vents in a home since there will be enough other places for the air to flow. But even if they are ok to use, the magnetic covers are good to block the air flow, but not that good to block the noise. There is also the lever on the register to close the vent, but again this is good at blocking the air but not the noise. Is there a better alternative that's good at blocking the noise without being a hazard? Thank you

I am looking for a living room baseboard diffuser that is longer than 48 inches to replace a old non working one. Like a dummy I forgot to measure the old one thinking I could just go to the store and get the size I needed. All I can find is 48 inches. This is an older home and need around 60 inches in length.
