Question about watercoolers?

With watercoolers can you get the air to come out cooler by putting in ice cold water? Thanks

Hello: Disciple

If the unit is the type used to cool room space, has a blower and straw pads with a water circulation system to keep the four sides wet as incoming air passes over the wet pads, we call these units swamp coolers.

If this type of water cooler is the type of unit you are referring to. If not, kindly explain in more details.

Certainly cold water would help. Problem is where to get a constant supply to keep the water holding tube supplied. Filling it with cold water would work at first, initially, but soon the water supply would reach outside air temp and defeat the purpose.
