Which Dishwasher to buy?

I'm shopping for a replacement dishwasher and after checking Consumer Reports decided on a Maytag MDB7600A. When I went to purchase it the salesman tried to talk me into a Bosch 43. After doing a little research I found that Bosch had higher than normal repairs. Is this true? Which dishwasher would be the most dependable and longest lasting.

Rather difficult question to answer. Product selection is a personalized choice which can be based on several factors. Aside from claims of sales persons whom may not always have a customers best interests in mind.

However, in my opinion, your on the right track checking the consumer reports. Which are usually, if not always, based on independent and unbiased testing, reports of customers calls for services and needs for repairs, etc.

I'd stay with the Maytag Tall Tub. maytag or known for thier dishwashers, and also they will hold more than the Bosch.

Bosch are expensive, and to me it's not woth it.. Yes they are quiet, but maytag are going to be quiet too.

I've had a couple of customer come in and buy a maytag cuz they are not happy with the Bosch. They take a long time to get parts, and parts are not cheap either.
