Last year, a good size roast was dropped on the bottom of our Gibson freezer causing a small crack. We recently moved and had the freezer shut off for several months and now have noticed ants are coming thru this crack ergo we figure cold air is escaping thru this crack when running. Do they sell any kind of putty to repair a crack like this? Thank you.

Hi. I'm new, but I looked through some existing posts and couldn't find an answer, so I'm hoping someone can help. We recently bought a house, and the previous owners left their washer/dryer. They're both large-capacity 1994 GEs, and they work great, with the exception of a couple of chips out of the enamel inside the washer basket. I try, of course, to get the clothes out as soon as they're finished washing, but if I don't, those two spots will leech rust onto whichever garment is touching them, and it can happen in as little as 30 minutes. Is there a way to repair those spots, such as touch-up paint, or will I need to replace the tub assembly? If that's the case, is it worth the trouble, or would it be better to replace the machine itself? Thanks for your advice! Monica
