You can use it, if you don't spill any liquids into the crack.

Obviously the broken glass can't be unbroken. The part can be replaced though.

Cant replace only glass??

my research leads me to believe that I have to replace the entire rangetop for approximately $325 and not just the glass..Am I correct that i cannot just get the glass replacement?

Call GE parts at 877-959-8688. Have your full model number and serial number ready. They should be able to tell you exactly what you need to buy. Ask them if they can provide a part number and price. You can search on-line for a better price or purchase from GE.

washer won't spin in any cycle

I have a Whirlpool Electric Thin Twin washer/dryer model LTE6234DQ2 that will not spin in any of the wash cycles. Water will drain normally and then the cycle stops.I have already replaced the timer.You can hear a faint hum coming from the washer. It must be manually moved to spin to finish the wash.
