Kenmore Electric Dryer
My Kenmore dryer cuts off after about 8-10 mins. Everything seems to be working. There is the normal amount of heat in the dryer. Why is the unit shutting down?

Hi Dusty,
-one of the thermostats or thermal fuse is opening up and interrupting the power. There are usually two at the back and sometimes one or two on top. Check them all for continuity, then run it and when it stops, unplug and chack again. This time you'll find an open that was closed before. replace that one.
