Refrigerator dripping
I've got a 5-year old, 25 cu. ft. Whirlpool side-by-side with an ice maker. Near the cold water inlet on the back of the unit (it's a brass fitting with blue plastic), I'm getting some dripping -- about a drop every 3 or 4 minutes. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it? I had a problem with the starter about a month ago, i pointed out the dripping and the service man said the overflow pan was dripping since the compressor wasn't getting hot enough to evaporate the water in the pan -- about 4 weeks and ruined hard wood later, looks like that's not the issue at all.

Hi markdiy,
-is it possible to check inside of where the cold water inlet is ? Possibly some fitting on this waterline is dripping a little.
Do it Right - Do it once.

I've taken a look at that -- the fitting is tight and looks fine. It's leaking near there, though. Also, where is the drip pan located for the freezer? I'm wondering if something is blocked that's causing an overflow and leakage.
