Angry My GE dryer is not blowing hot air

I have GE dryer for only 2 years.
My dryer blow cool air even I set it to normal heat and it keep runing for ever.

anyone have any idea?

Hi mluc98,
- there are a few things that will cause this. first thing is to check your breaker, and re-set it. If that doesn't do it you should check the heater elements. First unplug the machine. On dryers with a straight heater box you'll find 2 or 3 terminals at the base of the box. label and remove the wires. Now test continuity on the terms. On the 2 pin one you should get 5-50 ohms. On the 3 pin one, put one probe on the centre pin and ohm the other 2 in turn both should show 5-40 ohms. If any of these tests show short or infinity, then the heater is shot. On dryers with the round element, the terminals to test are inside the top at the rear. Put one probe on the left term. and check the other 2 in turn . Both should read 10-40 ohms. Again a short or infinity means dead heater.
Check these items and post back
