Kenmore dryer burns clothes
My Kenmore dryer is leaving burn marks on clothes. I think they're getting stuck around the edge of the drum. Don't know if this is something that can be fixed.

Hi Fisher5,
- you didn't mention # so a specific solution is difficult.
Most likely a thermostat or high limit switch is at fault. You can check these with an ohmeter.
Post back # and model and we'll get to where they are
Do it Right - DO it once.

Burn marks or friction marks? If clothes are getting stuck around the edge of the drum, either the seal is bad or the drum suspension is worn allowing the drum to drop away from it's normal position. How old is the dryer?
