Fridge stopped working

About a month ago my fridge stopped working. The freezer is having a hard time keeping up because the fridge is so warm but I think it is actually OK. We were going to just replace it even though it is only about 6 years old but then remembered the timing was about the same as when we had our whole place dry-walled. Could this be the problem? We have been building this 2nd home for some time so it is a constant construction area which I am sure, reeks havoc on appliances. Would just vacuuming the coils under the fridge be enough? BTW the temp in the fridge is about 48 degrees.
Thanks!

Wink

You have lots of ifs here. Low freon , some defrost stuck on . Blocked cap tube Fan not on. On and on. A dirty coil under it would give you very high head psi.
