Built In Oven Malfunction Help!

I have a GE Electric Convenction built-in oven model #JTP18COD1CC
The display beeps for several minutes and then displays "F7" & all functions become locked/disabled. I followed the troubleshooting tips & disconnected all power and then reconnected with the same problem. Any suggestions? THANKS in advance .

The F7 code usually means a stuck keypad, which may mean replacing the whole console. You can disconnect power, take down the console, turn on power, press cancel, then disconnect the ribbon cable from the control board and wait awhile to see if the code comes back or beeps. If it doesn't you know it's a bad keypad. If it does, bad board. While you're in there look at the tech sheet for the F code list to verify.

One thing that it isn't is the controller card. I swapped mine with the neighbor since they're the same oven and the problem remained. I may swap the keypad next since it's easy enough to do. I'll let you know if that works for me.
