GE Washer : Air Bell Coupling

Was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the air bell
coupling on a newer model GE washer. There was a nice schematic
in the washers control panel it states to remove a 7/16 bolt that
holds the air bell coupling to the transmission spline shaft. No problems
but now I can't figure how to remove the air bell coupling have tried
pulling, turning and lightly prying nothing helps. Any help on this would
be appreciated.
