scotsman ice maker not working

scotsman ice maker not working

scotsman ice machine[under counter] model DC33 PA quit making ice,had repairman out and after he finished he said [it will make ice now] i waited 2 days and still no ice. not wanting to have another service charge i disconnected and decided to try to trouble shoot myself.Can anyone give me some guidance. we had water flowing and power was on. where do i start now?

wooddr,

There is a high likelyhood that you have a problem with the refrigeration system.
These units are small but are considered a commercial unit.
If you called an appliance repair person they may not have experience with these.
My suggestion is to look up "commercial ice systems" in the yellow pages and look for an authorized Scotsman service depot.

And if I may add that if the repair company came out because it wasn't making ice in the 1st place and it still isn't then there should not be a 2nd service charge for them to come back out.
