This dryer is about a year old.It has a bottom front panel just beneath the main door where the lint filter is.How the devil does one remove this damned panel?Ive tried using a plaster knife at the top center to snap it out, but no success. Any help appreciated.I just want to get the panel off so I can blow-out any lint and stuff in the bottom of the dryer.

Model # JKP16G005BG Replacement Part # given WB X10006 This is a 27 year-old built-in oven that has been a great oven. The replacement part is a retro fit digital unit. The instructions say: All connections to the new timer are made in the normal manner. The current and new terminal assignments are shown in the following pictures. The wires connecting to the replacement timer terminals must correspond to the terminals on the current timer. The wire extensions are to be used as needed. They should connect from the wires in the range to the terminals. The wires in all JCP 40" range models with #6 should be tied together and not attached to the timer. For the white wires, attach to terminal #5 of new timer. For the black wires, tie together and do not attach to new timer My old timer had 5 wires attached: 2 heavy gauge red wires on terminal 1, 2 medium gauge white wires on terminal 4, and 1 heavy gauge pink wire on terminal 2. The replacement part wiring diagram has them labeled as L1, L2, and output 1. According to the wiring directions I put the 2 heavy gauge red wires on terminal 1(sane as old), 2 medium gauge white wires on terminal 3 (They were on 4 on the old timer), and the 1 heavy gauge pink wire on terminal 2 (same as old.) When I restore power to the unit I get nothing at the timer. The oven itself still works as it did before the timer replacement but the digital clock is not working. Do you think I just got a bad part? Is there a way to test the part? Been giving this more thought and the new timer is a circuit board mounted on plastic. The old timer was metal and bolted to a plate that has a ground wire attached to it. Could it be that the new timer needs a jumper wire for the ground. If so would have nice of GE to mention that in the installation instructions.
