Kenmore Ice maching turns on when I close door!

While I was doing something else in the house, my oldest kid shoved a plastic dog up in the door of the ice machine. I had to twist and yank to get it out, cutting wasn't an option. This dislodged the plastic thing that kinda directs the ice to your cup. It's causing the black flap to stay open, and every time I close the door the icemaker comes on! Where does this thing fit back in! And where does the flap go, over it or under it! It's a 1998 Kenmore model 5705191. If any of you own an older kenmore with the ice machine in the freezer, and not in the door itself, can you go look at it and explain it to me? Please!

I've googled, but am only coming up with actual icemaker problems, not problems with the door. Freakin out a bit here. Thanks in advance!

Check the model and serial tag and see if there
is a three digit number with a decimal point after it.
Ths would be just before the number you posted.
thanks

Updated a bit.. I got the door to shut, but when I press the cup against the lever the plastic thing (#12) in the pic just falls foward. I can't figure out by the pic where it's suppose to hook to from the top. The flap won't completely close either..

Sorry Gmaxx.. I didn't see your reply. I don't see a decimal point anywhere, but the other set of numbers is SH3933787.
