Hello,
Hopefully someone might be able to help me figure this one out? The machine fills like normal on all cycles but as soon as it fills, nothing. No motor sound, no humming, no nuthin'! and the timer won't advance. It's not the lid switch, I have bypassed that. If I manually turn the timer it will rinse and drain fine, the basket will spin etc. but it just won't agitate? It's like something isn't kicking it into "drive" a relay, solenoid, loose wire, etc...?
any ideas?
thank you,
Sears Kenmore Series 70 Model # 22722 100 TYPE: 111

Yo Gato, Bizzo here, any luck? I'm stuck, I'm going to have to call the repair man tomorrow, we've been without a washer for more than two weeks now. I'm hoping the local repair guy will come by and tell me what's wrong for a small fee. I'll post here if I find anything out.

Hey Suave, I would check into the water level switch. Check to make sure the air hose is connected and not split and also check the switch itself. A bad water level switch will not switch the power over so the washer can agitate.
