Washer Leaking out the back on spin cycle!
#1

First off let me make this clear.. The hoses are "not leaking"
.. When on spin cycle Ive watched the water come out the slots on the top back of the washer!..This is a fairly new washer can someone explain why this is happening? :0/

Does the leak occur on all loads? Which spin cycle does it happen- after the wash, or the final spin or both? Does the machine leak any other time during operation?
Presumably this is a top load washer you're speaking of.
Most all washers have two tubs, an inner tub and an outer tub. At the top of the two tubs is a "tub cover" which is generally a plastic ring that covers the inch or so gap between the tubs. It would be the same as putting a smaller drinking glass inside a larger one. The gap at the very top all the way around is covered with the tub cover. One of the purposes of the tub cover is to keep the water in the tubs while in operation. You may have a problem with the tub cover.
