Washer Clutch Kit

I think my washer needs a new washer clutch kit. I have a 3 year old top load Kenmore. When the cycle is done the clothes are wet and the spin cycle is not spinning fast enough. We changed the coupler and that wasn't the problem. Does anyone know where I could get directions on how to change the clutch? Thanks for any info.

kenmore washer/won't spin or pump

i have a kenmore washer model#110.48182790(compact two speed automatic) i put two small rugs in the washer and one of them had some kind of material on it that came off in the machine. i'm guessing it clogged something,but i'm not sure. it won't pump out any water or spin. it agitates fine.(belt drive) i'm thinking some possibilities could be a burned out timer or solenoid but it's simply just a guess. i checked all the hoses and their fine. i got out pretty much all of the stuff that came off the rug-i think. i'm new to the site and i'd really appreciate any help you can give me thanks, joeRead More

Installing new dishwasher

Well, my 20 year old dishwasher finally bit the dust - no not my wife LOL. So I get to install a new one soon. I need to add an air gap vent on my sink as the old dishwasher just used a looped drain line. I'll need to drill a hole to install the vent (stainless sink). Does anyone know the hole size for these air gap vents? I'd like to buy a step drill bit except they're pretty expensive so I'll have to use some bits I've got or borrow a step bit. I guess it doesn't matter which side of the sink I drill the hole as long as it doesn't interfere with the dish sprayer hose. Also, I'm going to rent a drill powered drain snake to clean everything out before the new dishwasher goes in - any tips on using the snake? Thanks.Read More
