Good afternoon,
As this thread title implies, we've got an Amana electric dryer (model# P1163620W / LE8407W), with a tumbler that spins fine and a working timer, but heat has suddenly stopped being generated.
The exhuast is clear of any lint, and based on a quick review of other posts, I thought it best to check the thermal fuse but don't know of its location. Any ideas or further insights as to diagnosing the problem woul be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Marc

Not sure of the model...but check in the housing area that surrounds the heating element and near other operating stats. Thermal fuses look like operating stats only are 1/2 the size.
You could have other issues like no 240 to your dryer, or burned wire before the element or burned element or stuck operating stat, for a few other possibilities.
