GE Dishwasher - hums, no water, checked float now what?

HI!
I am new to the forum - thanks for trying to help!

I have a GE dishwasher Model # GSD3230ZZ3WW. It was working Sunday - yesterday , NADA. It hums but no water.

I searcged the forum for similar posts and I have checked the float, no problem. It doesn't seem to be draining (I added water and vinegar to losen a seal that may have stuck.) I am not an idiot - but not a repair person either. Any ideas? I read about a stuck selaniod....what am I looking for.

Is this worth repairing - or is a new dishwasher in order?

THANKS for helping! I DO not want to wash the dishes by hand

GE dishwasher

With the power off, reach in to the cooling fins on motor & spin by hand a few times. I've seem them seize up on ocassion. Try running dishwasher again. Not quite sure about the rest of your question. Does it fill with water? You wrote no water, just hums.
Then you wrote, won't drain. The solenoid is located on the pump. It has an arm on it that moves a flap in the pump to divert the water to the drain. You can move the arm by hand to see if it is seized up. A little spray of WD40 usually does the trick. Dave
