Dual water valve for Hotpoint refrigerator

I need to replace the water valve in my Hotpoint side-by-side refrigerator.
I tried to post the image of the valve, but couldn't get it to work. Anyway, the valve has "quick connect" fittings for the two refrigerator water lines (one to ice maker and other to water in door). How do these lines connect to the valve, is this job easy or can it be too involved for someone that is not very handy ( i. e. me )
Thanks
PS -- the refrig. model is Hotpoint CSX27CKC

Water valve

Nothing to it. Just push the lines into the new valve & they lock in place. Dave

Thanks. I guess to remove the lines you would either pull up or down on the white ring. Correct?

Water valve

Yes. I don't remember which way the rings go to release the line but its either up or down. If you can't get the lines out of the old valve just cut them with a sharp knife close to the valve.
