Induction cooktops

Any problem with connecting to 220 V. AC in which the builder used aluminum wire in 1970s house? (Copper wire was used for 110v. circuits, fortunately.)

No more problem for an induction stove than for any other type of stove. This post really should move to the Electrical forum. Given that a circuit from the 70's is probably 3 wire and the new stove really should have 4 wire (but would be allowed to be connected to the old 3 wire with a jumper between neutral and ground...) I might consider replacing the entire circuit anyhow making the question of connecting to aluminum moot. If you do connect to the aluminum, make sure to use wire nuts rated for such and anti-oxidizing paste.
