Whirlpool Dryer not "sensing"

Over the past few months, all laundry from our whirlpool calypso dryer has come out still damp-even when we set it to the highest dryness level. Our house is only 3 years old-so I believe the vent duct is still clean. Could this be the moisture sensor? If so, how can I test the sensor?

Sounds like the Thermostat

The thermostat went out on my dryer one time when the clothes weren't drying enough.. But with yours only being 3 years old...not sure...Maybe have someone check the thermostat..

Sure I COULD do that...but this is doitYOURSELF.com Calling someone to check it is the last resort!
