Maytag Washer part numbers unsearchable

I've been trying to lookup info on some Maytag parts (in hand) whose number is of the format "35-5999". No hits, even when I visit the parts houses online. Its like the numbers don't exist.

Does the number need to be transformed somehow, or is there another explanation?

Sometimes the part can be looked up like that, sometimes they can't. You don't have a model number of the unit? What kind of part is it?

No model number. :-( The purpose of the selector switches (35-6332, 35-5999) is what's in doubt.

What's surprising is that this is the first washer where I *can't* search part info by part number. Whirlpool (etc.) is a breeze, and other formats of Maytag parts are a breeze. Its like the 35-xxxx parts are black ops or somthing.
