help with washer

i have a whirlpool washer and i need to replace the lid switch.how do i get the top of washer to raise or come off? thanks barbara

Black & Decker spacemaker coffeemaker??

Ok so I'm a not so handy woman, please give me a straight answer. i am on my sthird B&D spacemaker coffeemaker. Sorry I don't know the model but it is 3 years old. It is not the new digital one but it does have the LED clock and has programmable start. It was working fine one day and now I turn it on and nothing. It seems to no longer heat the water to be able drip it through the filter. Is it time for a new one or what can I do. Thanks and stop laughing...

Changing A Chest Freezer to A Refridgerator

Hope someone will know this, I desperately need to change a small chest freezer that is set to freeze -15 degrees to use as a refridgerator at about 40 degrees. Can I recalibrate thermostat? Change thermostat? Is there a way this can be accomplished? Thanks for ideas or advice....
