Angry Maytag Neptune - BURNING SMELL!!

After a complete cycle, upon opening there is a rubber-ish burning smell and maybe even smoke/steam??? Is this something a decent do-it-yourselfer can fix. Help!!

Have you ad it repaired recently and started selling after repair? If so seal was put in backward, dose it spin all the water out of the clothes, Possible motor and controller going bad, kit for this. soke coming from control panel door wax motor and main control panel burnt resistor in control board. Slight chance of bad belt but in 5 years have never seen a bad belt

Which Neptune model do you have? It could be the door latch wax motor if you have not changed it out...
