specs say 120/240V on washer/dryer combo - what is used?

specs say 120/240V on washer/dryer combo - what is used?
My stackable one piece GE electric washer and dryer (model number: WSM2700HWW) says on its specs 120/220V and 30 amps.
I am trying to figure out what my electric bill is going to cost when I finally move into my home. Now I know I should do (volts x amps = watts) x time to figure out watt hours.
What i am trying to figure out is what on the washer and dryer uses 120 and what uses 220.
Do both washer and dryer use 220v and the user panel use 110? or does a washer use 110 and dryer use 220? or something else?
...also - 110 volts x 30 amps = 3300 watts?!? So if I use the washer and dryer for 2 hours I am using 7.2 kWh? I am sure that is not true, about how much time do you think the washer and dryer both used for an hour would expend in energy?
Based on installation, the washer and dryer is plugged into a single 220 line.
If you have some insight to this let me know.
