Kitchenaid Refrigerator water dripping

I have a Kitchenaid side-by-side with ice maker, model number KSRA22ILSS01. I heard water trickling in the freezer section and I pulled out the bottom food basket to see water dripping onto what looks like a hot element in the back of the bottom of the freezer (I could see it through a grate in the freezer wall). I've never noticed this before but is it normal?
The ice maker is on.

Check out the thread titled "Kenmore Refrigerator - over heated coil in freezer?"

You are noticing the refrigerator when it is in defrost mode. It is defrosting the evaporator. This is normal.
