Whirlpool Cabrio

Cabrio washer spit out a f51 code on almost every load that is washed what should I look for?

F51 is a rotor position sensor error. It could be a bad connection at the sensor. There are three wires that are plugged into the sensor. Check to make sure that there is a solid connection. Simply unplugging the harness and reconnecting can solve the problem. Otherwise, the rotor position sensor could be bad. Here is a link to the service manual for the Cabrio:

If you have the 6200 or 6300, it is the regular Cabrio job aid. If you have the 6400 or 6600 it is the 6th sense technology version. The rotor position sensor is the same, however.
