Frigidare Stack Dryer belt replacement
I know the belt is broke. I need to know where best to access the drum. Do I need to remove the entire back panel. How do I put the new belt on. Thanks

I've never had to do one. But the day is coming. We have a couple rentals with them in it.
With conventional dryers in general you have to remove whatever (like top or front or both) to get at drum so you can remove whatever is supporting the front of the drum, so you can slide new belt around front of the drum. [The rear of drum is held by bearing(s), and you simply allow the drum to rest there] Then you have to access where motor and tensioner (access usually front bottom or rear access panel) is to be able to loop the belt around those. It is quite fundamental if you are a handy DIY'er, to simply figure it out, knowing what I said, without any kind of manual.
Just came back. Something important. You must make a determination WHY the belt broke! Old age?, or because of bind somewhere a drag - in idler tensioner pulley bearing, bad rear support bearing(s), or whatever.

Unplug machine take top of dryer off 8 screws, center panel, medal plate under panel and control panel leave control panel hanging on wires, Unplug wires going up to dryer door, 2 screws under control panel and front of dryer comes off. was dryer squeaking before belt broke will also need to replace plastic bearing behind drum. I would replace bearing anyway if you are that far apart. drum lifts up out of bearing. watch out for small ball in bearing. don't replace round ball on drum, a real pain

That is where my super long high torque screw driver comes in when trying to tap in the 3 screws. Wow is that tough. Almost start to sweat in hopes you don't strip the slots trying to tighten.
