Kenmore Dryer Overheats

Kenmore Dryer Overheats

Kenmore 80 series Dryer, model 110.64812200. Dryer runs 'very' hot no matter which cycle its on. Advice?

check earlier post by lillianoo will give you a lot of things to look at. most likely vent tube is pinched or blocked to the outside

Screen is cleaned regularly. No air-flow problem. I pulled the back off and vacuumed inside the blower housing and vent tube. Not much to clean out, so I'm not sure if thats the problem. Tube not pinched or blocked.

Even the 'delicate' cycle runs 'very hot'. Timer works fine, clothes dry in record time,.. too fast actually.

Idem 34 or 42 is thermostats one of these is a 4 wire one that controls temp. unplug dryer with the back off on lower left side you will see it. Very small chance this could be bad. Only seen 1 bad in many years
