Kenmore dryer not heating...

I have a Sears Kenmore ele dryer mod # 110.66512694 and is turning but not heating. I checked all breakers and all is fine. When I open door it will turn off dryer, but close it & have to push button to restart. What should I check to fix it? Thanks!

1) Unplug dryer
2) Remove one of the 2 wires to the heating element
3) with your multi meter on Ohms see if the heater has continuity by putting the leads across your heating element.
Did the needle on your meter go up. If yes it's not the element.
Next move on to your safety and cycling thermostats. Again remove one wire put meter across thermostats and see if continuty. If yes you need to look for a burnt off wire. Get out the schematic diagram and and make sure the timer has continuity on the test points it should.
Test the outlet itself for 120 volts - 120 volts- 240 volts

UNPLUG DRYER FIRST
here is a link to your dryer

under bulkhead are most of the parts that go bad. 2 thermostats, heater and thermo fuse, Remove back to access these parts. Follow what Snacks said. Have found very few of timers that cause this problem on that model
