Kenmore washer overflows model 110-29602691

I have a problem with my Kenmore washer, 90 series with a model #110-29602691. It doesn't matter what load setting I put, the washer overflows and spills water onto the floor. I pulled the plug on the washer and the water stopped. It drains properly and I can stop the water by plug and by the knob as well. What is the problem with my washer? How can I fix it? Thanks for the help

Remove the 2 screws in the consul. One on each side in front lower corners. Consul pulls slightly forward and tilts back and up. Look on left side and see if the hose is off the switch there. If it is plug it in and machine will work OK. Will need a pressure switch as the diaphragm has a pin hole in and hose will come off again. lease post model # again as it will not come up.

sorry for the wrong model number. it is 110.26902691
(KENMORE 90 SERIES). also, i tried your advice, undid the consul, and saw that a clear hose was undone. I reattached it to a plug attached to a white circular thingy(im guessing thats the switch because the loose hose fit perfectly...sorry for the lingo). However, the water still doesnt stop and would overflow if i dont manually stop it. Is there a chance the entire switch is broken? Thanks for the help.

Never seen one that didn't stop the water after hose installed but I would replace the pressure switch. The one the hose plugs into. here is a link to the part

# 2 is what you want. Might be cheaper at a local parts store. Pressure switch detects the water level air pushing up as the tub fills. Blow through hose to be sure it not blocked. Blow don't suck unless you like the taste of dirty soap. Should be able to blow through hose.
