Use a thermometer to actually see what each compartment says. Could be any number of things. If the freezer section is capable of cooling and the compressor tries to run, then your problem is a do-it-yourself, cheaper fix.

Does your fan up in your freezer run when you hear the compressor running? That is a good starting place.

Then, IF it is, then we need to know that down below the freezer compartment baffle at the rear of the freezer, if there is any ice in where the vent below it exists out into your refrigerator section. It exits out at in the inside of the fridge section in the top rear.

And then you want to make sure that your defrost water drain line is clear of gook, er else these can hold back the water when the coils defrost, and refreeze and mess up the ability to refrigerate. There are ways to check that defrost cup and tube to make sure it will pass air and water.
