[B][FONT="Georgia"][/FONT][/B] I have a GE potscrubber dishwasher 2 yrs old, first it was leaving soap residue, then it wasn't even disolving soap, wont melt wax on dishwasher cleaning agent, doesnt seem like much water is getting in, i've opened and looked at it and doesnt seem to have enough water presure to make center come up and spin, any ideas? please help

I have a Calypso washer. I recently did a load and the LD sign came up. There was a little water left in the tub and it wouldn't do the spin cycle. I did some research online and found that LD means long drain. If it does not drain in 5 minutes it stops and puts up the LD sign. I do not know much about washers. There was very little water left in the tub. I believe there is some kind of reservoir under the tub and water is not being pumped out correctly. Is there a way to see if it's the pump? I'm sure that part is expensive and I bought this used a few years ago. It may be better to buy a new washer instead of paying $100 for someone to come out and a few hundred for a part. Anyone have any thoughts?
