Frigidaire washer tub seal

In the middle of fixing the dryer and now the washer is leaking When it rains it poors!
I have removed tub, trunion and seals and ordered new seal part #5303279394
Now which way does the brass seal face, brass part facing up or down...Guess I should have paid more attention during disassembly but the frustration of the corrosion and crud got me a little distacted.
Thanks in advance for any reply.

Thanks,

The brass up was what I remembered and makes the most sense as this would be friction point.
Now back to the dryer. Then maybe I can get to my real job of growing food and flowers for folks.

David, you have been very knowledgeable, patient and attentive. Thanks I am certain I'll be back soon. There is plenty of old stuff around here that breaks.
