Lady Kenmore 90 series knob

We have a lady kenmore 90 series and the dial (setting time, etc.) lost its friction. That is, I can use a screw driver, key or something to press on the dial to rotate it. However, the knob doesn't function. I looked up the parts online, but couldn't locate a manual or way to remove all the parts. Any suggestion on how I can go about removing old one and replacing with new one?

This is exactly th problem I'm facing, similar washer. However, this solution doesn't seem to get the knob off the washer. any advice?

the knob should just pull off.

either push in or pull out knob should not turn one direction and than screw off. If ratchet devise broken in timer may have to dissemble timer in machine and hold shaft. Never had that happen to me, Unplug machine first

i have a whirlpool washer model LXR9245EQ1 on the bottom of the agitator one of the feet is broken off so my cloths come out twisted like knots sometimes.do i need a whole agitator or just the lower half. is this something that a homeowner can do.Read More

Kenmore Washer 80 Series wont agitate, spin - Coupler looks ok

Kenmore 80 series model # 100.26832690 Washer fills fine but will not agitate, spin, or empty. The motor is humming so I assumed it is not the cover switch. Also, burning smell is coming from somewhere around the motor/bottom area. I have read many of the posts and based on information, I assumed it was likely the coupler. I have the motor out and the coupler out but the coupler looks fine, no breaks, cracks, and when the copler pieces are on their shafts, they are tight and the shafts can be turned. Is there any possibility it could still be the coupler? What else are likely possibilities? Thanks in AdvanceRead More
