I have a Whirlpool LLR9245BQ1 that is leaving clothes wet after spin. The selected cycle doesn't matter, and it doesn't matter if the "extra rinse" feature is on or off. This is a direct drive model, with one end of the motor shaft driving the transmission through a coupler, and the other end driving the pump. The spin cycle always goes for the full duration. I've removed the pump (replaced twice so far), and checked the pipe leading from the tub to the pump, and also the pipe going from the pump out to the drain line. All pipes are clear, as is the pump itself. The drain line is hooked into a wall mount drain as it has in the past 9 years, and the top bend of this pipe is about 3 inches higher than the highest point of the washing machine's control panel. This started happening shortly after our floor was replaced. I considered it might not be level, but it is level both front to back and side to side. Might be coincidence. The amount of water left behind seems to vary. Sometimes just the bottom couple inches are wet to the point where a towel is heavy but not actively dripping when removed. Other times, the bottom half is soaking wet. There is no standing water after the spin, but it's as if the spin isn't going fast enough. The load volume itself is not above what we normally put in there, so I don't think overloading is the issue. Any ideas what might be going on? Could it be something simple like a run capacitor, or maybe not enough voltage? Or might it be something expensive like a motor or transmission? Thanks. -joe

Hello everybody I'm new here, and new to appliance repair. I bought a used washer on craigslist (taking a risk, I know). It's a Whirlpool model #LSR7233DD0. I had the guy show me every cycle before I bought and I swear I saw the spin cycle running. :confused: Now, it runs through every cycle but gets hung up on spin. The motor sounds like it's running but there is not spin action. I tried to look at the lid switch, and well there appears to be none. I see a bundle of wires with electrical tape on the end. Did they guy bypass the lid switch? That's fine by me if it's only a safety precaution. I live alone and I'm not gonna stick my hands in there when it running. I've been reading up on it a little bit and it seems like when people are having problems with the lid switch the motor doesn't run while in spin cycle, but mine does. So this leads me to believe that there is a different problem. When the guy loaded the washer into the truck he tipped it on its side. Could this have knocked something out of place? When I get home I'm going to figure out how to remove the cabinet and take a look in there. I know one thing to check for is the motion on the clutch drum, but beyond that I really don't know. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone have a good diagram or photos of the inside of a similar washer? Anybody happen to have this manual? Thanks so much! :helpme 2:
