I have a 4 year old Whirlpool refrigerator (mod. # ED5VHGXMQ10). It is a side by side with water and ice on the freezer door. Last week I brushed against the metal strip that runs between the fridge and freezer and was very HOT. This is the part that the rubber seals to when the doors are closed. This strip is hot from top to bottom. Even the rubber is hot to the touch. Also the water coming from the dispenser is not as cool as normal. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

We have a 4 year old Whirlpool electric range, RF368LXPQ, and the stove stopped working. We were cooking dinner had 3burners going and pre-heating the oven and the stove suddenly stopped working. It appeared that the oven was still pre-heating at the time but nothing was displaying on the digital display, we just got a PF message. The other odd thing is that when we turn on one of the burners the PF message comes on again but nothing still works. We tried to unplug the unit and see if it would reset itself but no such luck. Any advise without having to buy a new range?
