Hotpoint Refrigerator CSX22GR

I'm missing the water tube connection for my fridge that goes from the wall water faucet to the back of the fridge. My fridge is Hotpoint model CSX22GR. Can you provide part number for this part so I could buy it? Thanks.

If the refrigerator has the water valve there ready to connect to, all you need is a 1/4" refrigerator hose that you can pick up at any hardware store. There is no specific part number.

How to tell if Motor Coupler is bad???

Hello all, I have done all the searches and all the signs point to the Motor Coupler on my Kenmore Series 80-110 Top load washer. I currently have the washer apart and have access to the motor coupler and it looks in good shape. All the symptoms that have been described on this forum and others are what is happening, but as I said, the motor coupler looks good. The holes in the rubber bushing do show some wear and there is a little play but nothing extraordinary. How do you tell if the Coupler is bad without the obvious signs of something broken, etc. Thanks!Read More

Amana Fridge not cooling (clicking sound with slight hum)

Yesterday it stopped cooling. Can hear an intermittent click every 8-10 seconds every few minutes minutes. Believe it is the capacitor/start relay? trying to turn on the compressor and then stops. Turned off the refrigerator last night, and had a service guy come out this morning. Dang thing worked when we turned it back on, but after it got to the point where the temperature was < 20F in freezer and < 40F it turned off (as I believe it is supposed to). When it turned back on, the clicking sound is happening again, and not cooling... Is there anything I can do here, or is my fridge most likely toast (is 15 years old I think)? I know it at least works since it worked earlier this morning.Read More
