Frigidaire, Gallery Series Stove

Frigidaire, Gallery Series Glass top stove
Model # GLESS77CQB
Stove was turned on and girlfriend heard a loud "pop".
Digital display showed F1.
She shut off breaker.
I checked breaker, all o.k. in panel.
Checked plug, good.
Pulled cover off and checked pig tail at stove, good.
Pulled the cover off back of control panel.
Found a black box on the circuit board had a blackened area above it.
Put everything back together and burners work.
Clock works, oven still doesn't.
Reset oven per instructions on paperwork on back of stove.
Still doesn't work.
I'm thinking it is the circuit board behind the control panel
Could I be right??

Any help appreciated
Tim

Do you have the same exact model as the OP ?

Most likely not since I can't find any service info on that model number.

G L E S S 7 7 C Q B ....should be a number.....not a letter.

If not......start a new thread with your make and model.
