Frozen Freezer compreesor (Frigidaire)
I have a 2 year old Freezer that we put in our garage in Idaho where it gets cold in the winter. This Winter I noticed that the only thing in my garage that wasn't frozen was the stuff that was in my freezer I had a guy come out and look at it and he said for 500 dollars he could replace the Compressor in my 300 dollar Freezer. He said the fluid had frozen, and the motor burned up. Is their an option that isn't so financially absurd.

Welcome to our forums!
A viable option would be to replace the freezer and keep it at "normal " room temperature as it was designed for.
If the compressor is gone it is because the compressor was too stiff to start or liquid refrigerant migrated to the crankcase and damaged it.
Many people do put fridges and freezers in cold locations and get away with it but I think newer ones are less tolerant of this.
For one thing there is a fraction of the refrigerant in them compared to twenty five years ago.
